Why-di-doo that?

O.k. after long and hard, let's say difficault deliberation the grass was not greener, it wasn't even grass. It was but just like a small patch, it was like turf, looked really good but not the real stuff.
I digress, But now I deal with the aftermath and have a revelation for you all. Time alone has to be the best thing since sliced bread. When used effectively it can be the catalyst to get you from point a to point b,c,d, and beyond. We'll call this "workin onnit" time. Control has alot to do with it, when you feel as if you are not in control it can be the perfect opportunity to improve those traits. Emulate that which we are envious and jealous of...thas what ima do

I don't write to put my journal on the net but to relate, and this is one for everyone.

Nothing better than the old one, except the new one!

Given time the grass will usualy look a little greener on the other lawn, from a distance at least. That's because there are tricks that people use to create curb appeal. Damn that curb appeal, you'll get stuck weeding trying to get your new lawn to have the great attention to detail as the last.

I digress, I have spoken extensively about the relationship topic with men and women, and the consensus is;
1. Black women are moderately detached 2.Men work to get what they want, like a to do list(not good for relationships) 3. We stay in relationships for longer than necessary and get consumed 4. We will get over it because there's nothing better to make you forget about the old one than the new one. Our goals and sanity comes first and when we feel a hint of us not being utilized to our potencial. Instead of thinking it all through only a couple of us can see(all single people)that life is too short for confrontation. Relationships are suposed to compliment and be fun for the other person. There is someone for everyone, even those who have an inherited appeal challenge, odds are they're willing to o a litle more than the last if you shop for the right characteristics. So no we wont have everything in one person, but we can have what we need if we compromise and learn a little tolerance.

Don't sweat it let it cuz like grammaw said, there are plenty of fish in the sea...
time for some yardwork.

Summer?! is that you

Met a couple the other day who moved from a terrific location in the world, sunny San Diego. Bruce and Sara gave me and a special friend all the wonderful tidbits of living near the desert, and from thier information and interests i guessed they didn't have to drive in from the cost very far until they could afford to live. They actually moved to the distinguished season or two of Seattle for the weather. I thought of it and an easy reaction would be to think they are silly white people who can't find enough sunblock or they want to escape fire season, but I actually understand and appreciate it more. I doubt its the weather that made them move but it is a good diversion, California is sinking. I digress, rain is refreshing especially since its more of a drizzle. Seattle recieves less rain compaired to more of the major cities but has a reputation that drown out our good attributes, keeping King County undesirable. 9 months since our last days of over 70* weather, but when the good weather gets here we are like rare flowers. Vibrant, energized, a assemblage of Rare, keyed up people gathering to the cities best features. Hmmm...
